Film Summary

"Our Renewable Future" is a new documentary film featuring the world's leading renewable technologies, along with some of the companies and countries that are promoting their use, and thereby helping to stop global warming and the world's dependence on fossil fuels.

Over the past thirty years, thousands of bright people from many countries have
been working on viable solutions to our planet's growing need for energy. Today energy that comes from the sun, wind, waves, and the earth is being harnessed to power homes and businesses all over the planet. Renewable sources of energy are being used to provide fuel for cars, trains, aircraft, even spacecraft.

This global tour of the best alternative energy uses will showcase the growing use of solar in Japan, Germany, Spain, China, India, and the US, along with wind farms of Holland and Germany. In New York's East River and off the coast of the United Kingdom, the film will show how harnessing tides is already being used to produce electrical power.

In the automotive field, electric and hydrogen powered vehicles from the world's leading auto manufacturers will be featured. Viewers will even be treated to a ride on a biodiesel powered jet.

Although those that profit from maintaining the status quo would have us all believe that all is well with the planet, or that even if global warming does exist, we can depend on a few large corporations to "fix" the energy problem for us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

However, there is still hope for mankind, but only if enough of us choose to act NOW.
